Here comes the sun!

Or solar power, at any rate. Construction began on IGO’s solar canopy at the Evanston Public Library on January 25, 2013. Once completed, the solar canopy will generate on average 30kW hours of electricity per day. The electricity will power IGO’s electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, making IGO’s EVs truly zero emissions cars. Excess power will go back to the grid. To bring a little sunshine into your life during these gray days of winter, try driving one of our EVs today.
